   <description><![CDATA[ Combine eggs, butter, strawberry apple butter and vanilla.  Place the covered jar of Fudge Sweet into hot water to thin.  Add the milk, Fudge Sweet and Fruit Sweet to the butter mixture.  Sift the flour and baking soda together and blend with the wet mixture.    Pour into two greased and floured 9" round tins or equivalent.  

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.  Cool.  Top with whipped cream.    ]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[ Cream oleo and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each one. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to mixture. Add the orange rind and flour then the dates, orange slices, nuts and coconut. Makes a stiff dough, mix with hands if necessary. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan. 

Bake at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours

   <description><![CDATA[ Combine and set aside, the cut up orange slices, chopped walnuts, chopped dates and flaked coconut. Add 1/2 cup of the flour mixture, to the orange slice mixture, mixing well. Work with spoon until light, the butter. Add the sugar and beat well. Add the eggs, one at a time. Combine the soda and buttermilk. Add alternately with flour mixture. Blend well after each addition. Add candy mixture, mix well. Turn into tube pan, greased and floured. 

Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Mix well the orange juice and powdered sugar. Pour this mixture over the hot cake. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator before removing from the pan. Punch holes in cake with an ice pick so the glaze will soak into the cake.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until set but not brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet; roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely on wire rack. Roll in powdered sugar again.

   <description><![CDATA[ Buy frozen rolls or make the rolls yourself, but this works best if the dough is still very chilled from the freezer/refrigerator before the dough starts rising. Cut rolls in fourths.

Combine rest of ingredients in a bowl. Dip rolls in this mixture and place in pan. Pour remaining mixture over rolls. Cake can be made ahead to this point, covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated. When ready to prepare, loosen cover and let rise at room temperature until rolls rise to the top of the pan. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. After baking, invert onto serving platter, drizzle with syrup and dust with powdered sugar. Slice and serve with additional syrup.

   <description><![CDATA[ Put the yeast in the water &amp; set aside.

Put sugar, mace, milk, melted lard, salt &amp; eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Add yeast mixture and about 7 cups of flour.  Mix all ingredients
together &amp; work to a smooth dough.  Let rise until double.  Roll out on
board 1/2" inch thick, spread with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon &
sugar.  Cut in strips one inch wide.  Twist them as you place in a
round 8" greased pan.  Let rise about 40 minutes.

Bake 18-20 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown.  Ice with
Powdered Sugar icing.  Decorate with red cherries &amp; blueberries and to
with a flag in the center.

POWDERED SUGAR ICING 
Combine all ingredients, beat one minute, add more milk if needed to make it spread easily.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until
a wooden skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.  Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.

Stir together the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.  Sprinkle the sugar
mixture over the top of the cake as soon as you remove it from the oven.

Makes 1 - 9x13 cake

Remove biscuits with slotted spoon; place in greased pan. Repeat with remaining pieces. Sprinkle with chips; drizzle with melted margarine. Bake fo 18 to 23 minutes or until biscuits are deep golden brown. 

Let stand 5 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm. ]]></description>
